Paul Galles joined the Haven Housing Board in 2023 after seeking an opportunity to give back to the community. Paul uses his knowledge and expertise in finance to advance the mission of Haven Housing. He is passionate about being a part of the organization.

"It's a 40-year-old nonprofit and it's exciting to be a part of what's going to happen tomorrow and influence the direction for the future."

Since 2018, Paul has been a Senior Finance Manager at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. He has had a progressive history of working in accounting and finance, and even spent some years in marketing. Paul has a track record of successful cross-functional teamwork achieving results for all stakeholders. He continuously develops collaborative relationships throughout organizations.
Being on the Haven Housing Board has given Paul an opportunity to give back, and he feels he is benefiting from being on the board, too: "There's lots of things to learn." Paul is excited to use his business expertise to contribute to Haven Housing’s future in a unique way.

Paul currently resides in Eagan and loves to spend time at his cabin up north. He spends time boating and enjoying lake life. His sheep-a-doodle, Willow, loves Minnesota winters and swimming at the cabin. She keeps him busy with morning and afternoon walks!
