IRA Rollover
If you are 70 1/2 years or older you can make a rollover gift up to $100,000 directly from your IRA, which is referred to as a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). You may use a QDC to satisfy some or all of your required minimum distribution, which could provide you tax savings. To be considered a QCD the check must come to Haven Housing directly from your IRA account. IRA administrator will need the following information:

Turn $25 into $50 for People Serving People! Many employers will match the charitable contributions of their employees. Each company’s program is different, some ask employees to give through a corporate portal and others allow employees to report their gifts for the match. Check with your company’s human resources or corporate philanthropy team to learn more.
